My research shows that educators and engineers approach K-12 engineering education from different perspectives. Both groups hold unspoken assumptions about what the other group does and how they do it. I can help bridge these disconnects with fun activities that engage and enlighten. I am currently designing and piloting experiences that bring educators and STEM professionals together to learn from each other. By understanding one another and K-12 students better, educators and STEM professionals can create their own locally customized engineering opportunities for students. Contact me for more information or to work with me to customize and facilitate your experience together.
